Talk about why Occupational Therapy...mental and physical health in the scope. touch, bodywork, etc. It's about the lens. Look first at what is meaningful to the person and then see what's getting in the way. It's about what matters to you, not about what's wrong with you. And, the answer and treatment will be unique to each person.
Something about the education process (cadaver lab, brains, etc etc) so they understand the rigor and complexity of this lens. etc etc

We help with occupations, not treat the Dx. OT meets all of the ICF coaching competencies and can use the term health coach (Emmy).
Something about continuum of care? prevent primary or secondary issues d/t living with chronic conditions. uniquely qualified to help people live their best life beyond what the medical model/insurance can do. enege in all the things that matter to them...not just what ins pays for. (rehab (no medicare recipients) may be eligible for OON via Superbill, requires Dr referral., prevention/wellness/health, private gyro, group movement classes, ongoing online gk , wkshops, retreats, blog, book...but don't offer all these right now. Just well/prevent/health OT and Gyro privates. If a rehab case comes, fig it out then. Don't explicitly ad for rehab.
